Influencing Search Bar
The Influencing search bar is the commonly access element on the Influencing site, so its locked to the top of the page so its always available to you.
If you're using Influencing on a phone, tablet or any small-screen device, press the search icon to reveal the search options
The default search option is to search media contacts. This includes people. Just start typing and we'll give you suggestions as you are typing, with quick access to phone numbers and email. If you want to see that person's full profile just click on the name which is presented as a blue link.
You can also search for publications and outlets
You can even search for all of the media that cover a certain topic.
However, media contacts aren't your only search options. Click on the selector box to the right of the search bar to select enough search option.
List search lets you quickly find any of the lists you have built in the system. Just type a fragment of the list name and we'll show you all of the matches.
Opportunity search lets you search for editorial opportunities (upcoming articles to be published in features lists and editorial calendars plus requests for information posted directly to the site by influencers). If you type a term that matches a topic we categorise you can run that search by clicking the links or else we'll try and match against the term as a keyword.
A coverage search will search across the last 90 days of our media coverage database which contains many millions of stories written on online news sites and blogs across Australia and New Zealand. It works more like a search builder, simply type the term you want to search for and then hit enter or click the term.
If you wish to search for multiple terms you can do so. These will be combinated in a Boolean AND search. Once you've added your terms, just hit the Search button.
If you have sufficient social search credit, you can also search for hashtags or search terms across social networks. Currently only Twitter is enabled, however we will be bringing on new networks shortly. Any search results will count against your social search credit.
